Nature and Me Teachers' Guidebook

The Nature and Me Teachers’ Guidebook is specially designed to promote the integration of environmental education into early childhood education. This guidebook aims to deepen young children’s understanding of natural resources and environmental protection, and is useful for facilitating activity-based learning. The contents are designed to stimulate a child’s curiosity and desire to learn about nature, and from there, to develop respect towards nature.

The guidebook covers three themes - Plants and Animals, Ecosystems and Food Chains of the Earth and Environmental Resources and Sustainable Development. Teachers can refer to and use the relevant resources under each theme accordingly. They can find background information in the Introduction section; suggestions on fun and easy activities for indoor learning in the Indoor Activities section; and Outdoor Activities that can be carried out in various parks.
