"Indoor air quality" (IAQ) is an environmental issue closely related to our daily lives. We spend as much as 70% to 80% of our time indoors, and the quality of indoor air affects our health all the time.
This resources kit is designed for teachers to facilitate their teaching on related topics. It is tailored to the teaching needs of different subjects in primary schools, and divided into lower and upper primary levels. There are three main themes: biological contaminants, volatile organic compounds, and particulate matters. Through a variety of STEM-based research and learning activities, students are guided to identify indoor air pollution problems and explore potential solutions independently. By implementing various methods to improve indoor air quality, the students will achieve the goal of having "fun in learning and doing".
