Green Power is a dedicated environmental organisation committed to advancing conservation and strengthening community engagement through impactful environmental education. In 2027, we will roll out several new initiatives, built around new themes and delivery approaches—such as a territory-first Ecological Protocol, a Community Co-creation Tree Programme, and a new Coastal Clean-up model.

We are looking for proactive, action-oriented, and creative team members who share our core values in environmental education and conservation. Depending on your interests, strengths, and our organisational needs, you will take ownership of one to two new projects and work closely with the team to deliver meaningful outcomes for nature and the community.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Lead and manage one or two Green Power's new 2027 programmes/projects, applying key approaches such as the Ecological Protocol, Community Co-creation Tree Programme, and/or a new Coastal Clean-up model.
  • Oversee the full project cycle, including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and impact sharing.
  • Continuously refine project strategies to achieve programme objectives and maximise environmental outcomes.
  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with community stakeholders to enhance project impact.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programmes; prepare training materials for different target groups.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks and tools to assess programme effectiveness, and adjust approaches as needed.
  • Prepare progress reports and handle project logistics and administrative tasks.
  • Support other organisational programmes, including:
    - Leading and delivering guided tours on various themes and sites (e.g. waterworks facilities, drainage facilities, forest ecology, coastal ecology)
    - Supporting and delivering coastal and countryside clean-up events
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
    ‍

Requirements:

  • Strong alignment with Green Power's mission and values, with a demonstrated commitment to local ecology and biodiversity conservation.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Science, Biology, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 3–4 years of relevant experience (candidates with less experience will be considered for the Officer level).
  • Solid knowledge of ecology; knowledge of specific taxa (e.g. plants) and/or urban ecology and coastal ecology is an advantage.
  • Experience in planning and delivering community and school programmes.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake intensive outdoor work.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Canva for creating programmes and training materials (e.g. posters, presentation decks, social media visuals).
  • First-aid certification is preferred (please indicate qualification and validity period, if applicable).
